considering I already invested in my automatic and its all beng replaced free, I am not spending $6000 to convert to a 6 speed.

actually i like the T-56 over a 5 speed because of the option of throwing crazy gears in it (4.30s) and still being daily driveable. 5 speeds suck. the gas mileage is an added plus, again taking into account the fact that the taz car is driven alot. its not just a race only car * i dont think *

Seeing all of this has me very vexed about selecting my transmission. Right now, I am riding on a built 727, but having no overdrive really sucks cock, and there are few add-ons available for the 727.
I might just go T56 after seeing all of this, since I will not be doing too much drag racing.

Powerglide. LOL. That is only for a true dedicated race car that will almost never be driven upon the roadways. That is for cars that have so much power that they don't even need gearing.

I think you meant never driven for LONG periods of time on the roadways.

Depends on how long you can handle driving a car with a 6000 rpm stall.
