2010 black Hyundai Genesis - swirled, etched and oxidized!

This is a 2010 Hyundai Genesis with (I think) 15k miles on it. I'm assuming it sits under a sprinkler often, because the whole car had bad water etching all over it, and some light oxidation. Swirling was pretty average, but pretty deep in some areas. The front passenger side was repainted recently and had some very deep swirls and sanding tracers, which the Cyan pad wasn't touching. For these, I switched to a Surbuf R pad with M105, and it cut way faster than the Cyan, although it did not leave as nice of a finish. I also used the Surbuf pads on some of the deeper etching and swirls on the car.

The paint on this car was VERY hard, similar to a C5/C6 Corvette. M105 on a Cyan pad took care of most defects and actually left a pretty nice finish. M205 with a gray pad was icing on the cake, and Fuzion made the paint look like a black pool of water.

Wash:
-Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
-Lake Country wash sponges
-Two-bucket method w/ Grit guards
-P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel
-Short Handle Tire/Wheel Brush
-Daytona Speedmaster Wheel Brush
-Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush

Clay:
-DP Universal Detailing Clay
-DP Universal Clay Lubricant

Paint Correction:
-Flex XC3401VRG Dual Action Polisher
-Meguiar's #105 Ultra Cut Compound with Lake Country Cyan 6.5" Hydro Tech pads and Surbuf R series pads
-Meguiar's #205 Ultra Finishing Polish with Lake Country Flat 6.5" Gray Finishing Pads
-Grit Guard Pad Washer
-Menzerna Top Inspection
-3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape
-IPA

LSP:
-Wolfgang Fuzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax
-Meguiar's Last Touch Detailer

Tires, trim, etc:
-303 Aerospace Protectant on trim
-Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel on tires
-Menzerna Polishing Cream on exhaust tips

Some "before" shots:

Claying:

As you can see, clay didn't really touch the water etching.

IPA after polishing:

Here's what my clay looked like after doing an entire panel.
